The paper is from a few scrap sheets I have left from Crate Pad. I used my Cricut to cut the Scallop circle. The image with colored with both my Copics and Spectrum Noirs since I used that to fill in my gaps since I am not one of the lucky ones to own every color each companies makes.

Happy Fall

Sweet Pea Stamps has been having some amazing sales and some amazing new releases lately so I admit I could not resist and grab a couple of great stamps.

This is from a new release by Elizabeth Bell for Sweet Pea Stamps and it is called Cami in Fall.  Was continuing my mood for paper piecing so I paper pieced her outfit and used my Autumn Flower Soft to make the 3D look of leaves on the picture.  I had these buttons in my stash FOREVER so decided it was time to take them out.

I colored the image with my Copics.
Skin combo YROO, YROOO, E02 and R20
Hair E15,19 and some E35/37 in there for darker tones

Loves Rubberstamps Pinterest Inspiration Challenge

I do so love when Tuesday roll around because it is time for another Challenge at Loves Rubberstamps

This week's challenge is a ...

Pinterest Photo Inspiration Challenge

Make a creation that is inspired by this adorable photograph that I found on Pinterest! You could...be inspired by the little girl herself. Be inspired by the lace and layers in her dress, the beautiful flower on her headband, the pearls on her necklace, or just simply be inspired by the vintage, shabby chic feel of the picture!

As always our weekly prizes are:

$10.00 - If the stamp used is from a company that we do not carry in our store
$20.00 - If the stamp used is from a company that we DO carry in our store

This week I decided to use one of my newer Kraftin Kimmie stamps called Lana. I have to admit since this is not really my style I was a bit stumped but I decided to upcycle parts of an older card (the scallop circle base I used in a previous card) and add a new layout sponged doily to distress it on top of it, color a new image and then paper pieced the outfit and add some pearls and stickles.  Not sure how I feel about it but I think it does fit the challenge...guess I am not mean to be a shabby/chic girl.

Post for my lovely Brownie troop-Halloween Cards for I Feel the Love Project

I have been my oldest daughter, who is now in 3rd grade, troop leader since Kindergarten for Girl Scouts.  I think she will be a lifer and I have been lucky to be blessed with a great bunch of girls in my troop (I have 14 girls)

We have a traditional of picking a place to do handmade cards for and this year I decided to have the girls make cards for Madison's Feel the Love Card Project.  Since they are only 8-9 years old I keep it simple and it is more a sticker, drawing cards but I did teach them how to make home made action woobles (Thanks Kim at My Craft Spot for the Tutorial).  I hope the kids appreciate their Halloween cards and my girls had a blast making them.  This is a sample of the cards they made and I promised I would show them off.

I just need to pack them with some of my own Halloween cards and ship them off today so it get there in time.

Crafty Sentiments Card

Here is a card I decided to just do for fun. I made this with the Crafty Sentiments Challenge in mind.  This is one of my favorite stamps by them.

I think I have mentioned before that ribbon and I tend to not be friends so I decided to try some ribbon flowers to dwindle my stash down so that green flower is my own creation. I am proud to say I only burned my finger once with the hot glue gun!

The paper is by Echo Park but forgot which pad.  The Sentiments is from my chipboard stash.  I colored in the images in my Copics.

Hair-E33,35,53,51,50 (thanks to Bev for that great suggestion...need to perfect but I really like this combo)
Skin-YR00,YR000, E02, R20
Shirt-R81,83,85 (flowers are R13,14)
Pants-YG 3,6
Brown on shirt, belt and shoes-E35,37

I will be entering this one into the following challenges

Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Monday

Happy Monday to some and I am sure we have those who wake up with a Groan.  It is time for another Inspiration Monday Morning post.

Today I used a Stamping Bella stamp via the Uptown Girls Collection called Perry on her Laptop. I stamped on Crafter's Companion paper, colored with my Spectrum Noirs and used my Cricut via the Art Philosophy Cart for the shape of it.  I think I have finally used the last of my stash of my Stella paper from CTMH.

Hope you enjoy todays Inspiration and hope to see you back for tomorrow Challenge at Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges:

Autumn theme card-Floppy Latte Designs

I was lucky enough recently to win a Challenge and get a gift certificate for Floppy Latte Designs.

I really adore their fairy SILHOUETTES and am using one for a fall theme card.  Decided to pull out some different mediums and I used my chalk to color the image with just spreading the chalk around, then my Flower Soft to add some dimension to it.  The stamp is from my CTMH collection stamps and paper is from my stash...I got some single sheets at AC Moore but not sure who made them. The corner flowers are by Wild Orchid which I purchased at I Brake for Stamps.

A day for Daisies tag

I have always loved ADFD images and their September stamps (which has fairies and you know I love fairies) is just great. I am really trying to just use my stash (half way through paying my catholic school tuition so I have to stay a bit budget focused now)  and I have had this digi sitting in my to color pile so I decided to get it ready and enter into the ADFD challenge.  I love these images cause they remind me of my times with my mom and of course of being a mom too since I have three girls.  Just love the joy on their faces.

I colored this one with my Copics but since I did it late at night I forgot to write them down for you. I added a bit of stickle in Mom's hair on the flowers. Cut the tag with my Cricut on the Art Philosophy cart.
Ribbon & Lace are from my stash.

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge-Make your Own Background

Happy Tuesday everyone.  Today is a heavy rainy day and my 1st grader is home sick with that lovely croup so I will be Nurse Momma today.

I am popping in to post my card for today's Challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps.

This week's challenge is to ...

Make Your Own Background

You could...use an embossing folder, use your favorite background technique, stamp a background, create a scene... whatever you choose! Lots of possibilities!

I have to admit I was a bit stumped by this one. I have neglected my embossing folders for some time so I decided to wipe them out and use them and my fab little Cuttlebug.  I also use a Spellbinders card for the stamp frame.

This fabulous image is from the Saturated Canary Stamps by Little Darlings.  I am sooo excited to be playing with these in rubber. Our lovely store owner Laura has gotten a great selection of stamps in and my wallet knows it :-)!

The flowers are from my stash as well as the ribbon borders.  I colored the image with my Copics and added Stickle to her dress.  I will be entering this card into a few challenges as well.

I think I actually wrote down my list of Copics this time...Yeah to me!

Loves Rubberstamps Monday Inspiration

Hello Monday! and hello to everyone out in Bloggy land. Being Monday, it is my term to show my Monday Inspiration for Loves Rubberstamps Store.

I know some people are not the biggest fan of the Fall but I so love this season.  Today I decided to showcase on of the adorable Cheeky Stamps by Greeting Farm.  This cutie is called Cheeky Pie
I used my Cricut Art Philosophy for the Card Shape. The paper is from CTMH-Stella collection. I love these colors.  The sentiment tag is from My Craft Spot Teeny Tags.  Colored the image with my Copics though I do apologize that I forgot to write down my numbers this time.

I then distressed the edges with brown ink and added a bit of red Stickle on the cake.

I will be entering this card in

And as a Reminder Loves Rubberstamps is having a DT call. It is a great team and I am having so much fun. For more information, see the link to Loves Rubberstamps Blog. Good Luck to all that apply.

Back to School Challenge with Sentimental Sunday

Welcome to another Sentimental Sundays.  This week we are challenging you to create a card or a project with the Back to School theme.

We are being sponsored this week by Doodle Pantry

This week I created a card using both a Tickled Pink Stamp and Doodle Pantry images.

The image is from Tickled Pink who unfortunately closed shop but before they left I made sure to stock up on tons of digis and stamps! I colored the image with my Spectrum Noirs and used a retired paper from my stash by CTMH.  I then used the chalkboard and the sentiment from Doodle Pantry. I admit..though I color digis frequently..my depth of knowledge is how to enlarge/minimize, rotate and sharpen lines so I have no idea how to merge images so that is why you see my cut and paste techniques. Someday I will figure it out.

Hope to see many of you guys join in and enjoy your day.

SBS Halloween Card

Happy Thursday. I was able to finish this card up last night. I saw this awesome idea in a Cardmaker magazine and have been meaning to try it forever but have not gotten it together until today.  I used my Wild Card Cartidge on the Card Feature and made the card at 5 1/2.  I then cut a 2 inch circle and stamp this image from Simply Betty from the Halloween Emo Line.  I colored it with my Copics and then added embellishments which I was given to by a bloggy friend.  The pumpkin is from Happy Haunting Cartridge and the paper is from MME. It is hung on wires in the center so it spins.

The second picture is a still of it laying down so you can see the image a bit better. I think it may stay more anchored if you used small beads on the wire but I did not have any and the wire seem to be hold it just fine..I used very thin elastic cord.

I also spent the night doing some Ribbon flowers to dwindle down my ribbon stash since I HATE making bows :-) and only burned myself twice with the hot glue gun...YEAH.  I just saw this really cool tutorial on My Craft Spot on making your own action woobles so I hope to get to make some of those too cause now it is stuck in my head.

I will be entering this one into..

Kraftin Kimmie Halloween

I tend to create cards sometimes with a few challenges in mind. I really want to get into the Marker Pop Challenge and the Kraftin Kimmie challenge so I found this stamp that has not been used yet and decided to ink her up and get to work.  I saw the inspiration tutorials at Marker Pop about a sky...tried to do more of a night sky but think I need more practice on this one. I have also decided that I have WAY too much ribbon so I hope to start making some embellishments with them in the near future to dwindle down my pile.

I colored Wicked Witch with Spectrum Noirs-
CG1 & CG2 for the skin
IG4,6,8,10 for the hair.

I paper pieced the outfit from the Echo Park Halloween stash that I think is from last year collection. I also used some stickers/diecuts I had from that collection too.

I will be entering this one into:

A La Mode-baby

Happy Wednesday. I managed to get a card done using the adore A La Modes Series by My Favorite Things. I am fairly new to this stamps but I have a feeling I found a new addiction :-).

I decided to paper piece her outfit together. I have tons of MME paper pads from AC Moore that you can buy in th 12x12 assortment and I really need to dwindle it down.  This is all from that stack and since it is an assortment pack I am not sure of the name of the paper pad..sorry everyone.  I will be entering this into the following challenges-

WE WILL NEVER FORGET

Still after all these years, today still gets me teary eyed.  Can not forget the agony of watching the towers on TV as I was living in North Carolina and my panic as I tried to reach my siblings who both worked in Manhattan at that time.  My deepest sympathies to all that lost a loved one on this date and my gratitude for all the brave men and women who were on hand to aid on that day.

Take the time to connect with those who hold dear today.

Welcome to a lovely Monday morning. I am loving this weather this morning here in my part of Jersey. Got all the windows open and a fabulous breeze.  Today is the first day all the kiddos are in school...my "baby" started Pre-K today and is soo excited to be there.  I have a whole 3 HOURS by myself today but already have a list of chores to do.

As it is Monday, it is time for my Monday Morning Inspiration for Loves Rubberstamps Store. I decided to go to one of my favorite artist Kenny K and use his Sweet Melissa stamp.  We have a fabulous selection of Kenny K images via Whimsy Stamps over at Loves Rubberstamps and more comes all the time.

I used my Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge to create the shape with MME paper.  I used some flowers from my stash and dusted them with some purple distressed Ranger glitter.  I colored the image with my Copics and the pearls and gems are from my Recollections stash I got at Michaels.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Magnolia Fall Card

Oh my..sometime cleaning you space makes you realize just how much you have and what sits there so ideally.  I really want to start getting back to my stash and stop grabbing the "newest" stuff that comes out and then sits :-(!

So I had this Magnolia stamp that I decided would be perfect for a Fall card. I dusted some old Cricut carts and used "My World" cart for the tree and fence and Accent Essentials for the circles for the Apples and my patterned sun.  The paper is mostly from MME On the Bright Side 6x6 Pad but I think I used something else for the Sun in my Scrap paper box.

Colored the image this time with my Copics and you can not really tell in the picture but I have some stickles on the flowers.

I will be entering this one into the following challenges:

Scrapalicious USA-Fall Theme

Sentimental Sundays-Humor me with Bugaboo

It is a glorious Sunday here in Jersey. Beautiful weather and have my lovely windows open to enjoy the breeze.

As it is Sunday that also means it is time for another challenge over at Sentimental Sundays.

This week's Sponsor is:
bugaboo new logo
Donating: 7 digital images, winners choice

This week's challenge is:
HUMOR ME
(make it funny)
(plus a sentiment)

I love the snarky humor of the Bugaboo stamps.  Now the story behind this one is inspired by my hubby and sister.  He can a bit on a "moody" side and my eldest has taken after him so when they get into those moments come I call them in my sarcastic voice "My rays of sunshine"..so of course when I saw this I HAD to have it.

Did paper piecing and clean out some of my leftover spring stash for this one.

Will have to peak at appropriate challenges later but dinner calls here so I am off. Enjoy the day.

Sugar Nellie

***Another Enabler Alert****. Sugar Nellie has decided to go digital with their Christmas images this year as well as but the SIMPLY SASSY IMAGES (by Krista Smith) in DIGITAL FORMAT!!! I am sooo excited about the Simply Sassy images I have to say.

Anyway, I do love their Home Grown line so decided to dust off my Autumn Collection and use it to make a card.  Look at all the little treasures you find when you organize your stuff :-)!

This paper is actually from a K& Company Christmas Pad I got last year.  The colors went well with my card so decided to use it. I tend to color first and then dig through my stacks of paper to find the right fit.

Colored the images with a combo of my Copics and Spectrums. I used E07,E09 for the reds. I used Spectrum GB08,GB10 for the green.  The leaf stamp actually comes in this set so I just stamped it on the paper and the brads I have had for some time.

I will be entering this on into:

SBS Monster Mash Hop

As many of you know I am BIG Fan of Simply Betty Images. Her team organized this fantastic hop..affectionally dubbed the Monster Mash Hop..to show off the fantastic Halloween theme images she has available.  Betty LOVES Halloween so you know she got a great selection.  Here is the kicker...the DT team will be judging all of the fantastic selection of items for a new 3 month Guest DT member so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Okay enough babble. You should have come from the very talented Erin site I decided to just do a card with a image that I have admired for some time. This is a stamp called Little Witch from her Steampunk Collection.

I had some Black Tulle in my box and gotten the purple crow, ribbon and pin from our lovely Betty in one of my Kits. I added some black ink to the red roses and cut the word Bewitch from my Cricut. I sponged the image. The paper is from Me and My Big Ideas  I got from the Craft Store AC Moore.

I also did a non-card item which was soooo easy but I am very excited about how it turned out.

This is a wooden plaque that I got at Michaels for $1. I then actually STAMPED directly on the wood with my Memento Ink and colored it with my Copics. I then had a tree stencil and sponged different shades of yellow, orange, blues and browns to get the effect around the image. The sentiments is cut from my Cricut on the Happy Hauntings Cartridge. This is actually going to be a gift to someone who shall remain nameless at this time :-)!

Hope you enjoyed my submission and keep on Hopping along to Katrina's lovely blog.

LOTV Card-Use Black with your Image

Okay I am not sure if this is still on but just in case ****enabler alert***Lili of the Valley has free international shipping for their stamps so you know I had to go through my stamps see what I had and where I can add.

I found this adorable cutie, appropriately called Party Girl,  and decided to ink her up. I have to admit I was a bit stumped at first of how to pull this off but I had this paper pad sitting in my pile for awhile and forced myself to pull it together.

The paper pad is by MME and I decided to paper piece her dress and accessories on her. The flowers are from my stash and I used a challenge sketch for this one.

Anything but a Card-12 x12 Wall Wood Wall Hanger

So got info on a new challenge called Let's Create...Anything but a Card Challenge by my bloggy friend Betty Roberts on the DT.  So I decided to showcase a  Wood Wall Photo Hanger that I created for my friend who had a baby girl.  This is the color scheme they went with for the room so I decided to keep it in those colors.

First I painted the sides and back white.  Then I took a 12 x12 sheet and cut our the photo slots.  This paper is from a retired paper stash from CTMH that I had in my collection.  I then took a different layer of paper for the bottom half.  The crochet flowers are from my stash and the journal area and the saying Beauty are actually stickers.  The butterflies I got from Oriental Trading and I stamped the words Happiness on a piece of chipboard and added some heat embossing too it.

(this is the back side and I added a hanger so if they want to mount it on the wall)

I will be entering this on into the following challenges

I was organizing my stamps the other day and remember that I have this great collection of LOTV stamps and one caught my eye to ink up and use. it.  I made the Circle card with my Cricut with the Art Philosophy Card.  the paper is actually from Crate Paper.  The flowers are from my stash as well as the lace ribbon.

I colored the image with my Copics.

Loves Rubberstamps Monday Inspiration-Kenny K

Welcome to my Monday Morning Inspiration for Loves Rubberstamps. For all of my USA followers, Happy Labor Day.

Today I decided to use one of my Kenny K images with some paper piecing.  This fabulous image is called Chef.

This paper is from my stash of retired CTMH papers called Cherry-O.  The Sentiment is actually a sticker and I am really practicing how to use ribbon...some day I will get it.

The image is colored with my Copics outside of the paper pieced outfit.
