SBS Camping Fun???

I have had this image by Simply Betty in my stash for a while. I was inspired to color this one up for my oldest daughter.  She is finally old enough to stay "late" at her Girl Scout camp to participate in something called "Night Lites" where they have a campfire bbq, sing songs, and learn basic camping skills but she get picked up by me at about 9 pm.

After first she was terrified and refused to go and then after a day, she is sooo excited to do it.  This image just was my imagination running wild as to what her face looked like at camp.  The paper is by K&C Company-Girl Scout Paper.  Then I cut the firepit from my Cricut and the stickers are by Jolee that I have had in my stash.

Mo Manning-Doggy Love

I created this card for the newest challenge at Mo Manning called "In the Doghouse" in which you can use a "dog" image or a "so sorry" theme. I have gone with this adorable image called "Sad Bella". I actually created a boy theme card since I have only a few of these in my stash.  The sentiment comes with the image.

Colored it with my Copics and used a newer skin color combo for me, E11,E13,E15 for shadowing.

I have a special place in my heart for doggies (nothing against cats just allergic to them).  I have been fostering puppies for a rescue for two years and all my dogs are rescue pups.  All of the puppies are rescued from high kill and overpopulated shelters in Southern USA.  So please remember to spay & neuter and to adopt!

Loves Rubberstamps Monday Inspirational-Wee Stamps

Sorry it has been a little quiet here on the homefront...I have had this nasty little chest cold and I will not deny I am a complete wuss when I am sick and have been lounging in bed and drinking my Theraflu (I love that stuff) as much as I can.

I am finally starting to feel better so get ready for an action packed week here of cards :-)!

First up is my Monday Morning Inspiration for Loves Rubberstamps. This is a fabulous stamp by Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamps called Sweet Blossom in the Wee Stamp Collection. Isn't she gorgeous???

I colored this with my Copics on my Crafter's Companion paper. I then used my Cherry Lynn Design Mini Flourishes...the sentiment, flowers are from my stash and the lace ribbon is from my stash and the fabric pattern underneath I was lucky enough to win from the fabulous SHELBY...thank you for the goodies hun! I decided to just dot it with some Stickles as well.

I will also be entering this on in the following challenges

Let's Help our fellow Crafter Out- Simply Betty SOS PLEASE READ

I have fallen in love with the images available over at Simply Betty and over time have communicated and become friends with the fabulous owner named Betty Roberts. She is someone who has a great heart and strength. Her teenage son is ill and having to pay for all her own medical expenses, she recently went to the MD with him to find out he will need urgent surgery. In order to try to raise money as quickly as possible she is offered a fabulous deal of 10 of her digis for $15 dollars!...that is an AMAZING price. This sale started on Wednesday and will last for another week or until she reaches her goal for paying for the surgery. So please check out her site at simplybstamps.net

Enter the code 10Digis15 and it applied to all digis (regular and limited editions)... My personal faves are the Judes, Teen Scene and Betty Collection but for your truly loving Halloween folks out there you may have found Halloween heaven! Thanks for reading and lets show Betty what the Sisterhood of Crafters is really about.

Mo Manning Kisses

Hello everyone. Back again with my second post. I made this card with the Digital Pencil Challenge mostly in mind since I will be entering this one again in the GDT they have going on. The paper is from MME, colored with my Copics this time...made a HUGE score at Michaels this weekend that had a one day sale of Copic Sketch Markers at 40% off!!!! The background is a Spellbinders Die. The tag is from My Craft Spot-Teeny Tags stamp set.

I really adore her images and this one especially I adore since it looks SOOOO MUCH like my baby girl who is soon to be 4. You think I am kidding...check out this shot of her from this week. She is quite the character this one and she can not live without wearing a "fufu" skirt as she called them.

I will be entering this one in the following challenges

Crops of Love Special Hop at Cooking with Cricut

Welcome to the CookingWithCricut.com, Crops of Luv Blog Hop. This month our designers chose to create layouts for the Crops of Luv Organization. If you came here from Natt Smith blog then you are in the right place, if you need to start from the beginning, then just head over to CWC.

Crops of Luv works hand-in-hand with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and creates scrapbooks for families who have children facing life-threatening illnesses. Our hop will focus on creating 12 x 12 Scrapbook double page LOs using these themes: Princesses, Pirates, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Summer Fun (e.g. swimming), Christmas (yes, they have Christmas every Thursday at "Give Kids the World"), or general Disney themes.

Crops of Luv has some specific guidelines for the layouts. They need to include a journaling block or tag and mats for 3 4 x 6 pictures on each page. They also do not want the photo mats permanently adhered to the page. That way they can flip them whichever way they need to.

We hope you will enjoy our creations! We would love for you to participate. You can make a two-page layout following the parameters outlined above and mail it directly to Crops of Luv c/o Roberta Baker, 11424 S. Pawnee Circle, Phoenix, AZ 85044. Since this blog hop is also a challenge, be sure to link your project to CWC/PCW.

If you would like more information about this organization, or would like to make a monetary or supply donation, please visit their web site, www.cropsofluv.com.

I decided to finally wipe out my Create a Critter which has been sitting unused since Christmas! I know I am sooo bad here.  I have to say I really like this cartridge and can see why so many people are a big fan of it.

I cut the tiger at 5 inches and giraffe at 4 and the vines are cut at 2.5.  These would be great to capture those Animal Kingdom/Zoo theme pictures.

If you get lost along the way, please be sure to head back to CWC and start from there. Be sure to head over to CWC and leave a comment for a chance to win some blog candy and to link your own Crops of Luv creation. Now you can head over to our super talented Evelyn. Thanks so much for being a part of our hop.

Whimsy Stamps GDT

I am so excited to have been chosen as this week Guest Designer over at Whimsy Stamps Challenge this week.  I has chosen to work with this adorable image called Nose to Nose by Crissy Armstrong.  Being a huge dog lover, this is one of my favorite images that I have had my eye on for a while. The little girl reminds me so much of my daughter and the dog of my once tiny Peaches...who is no longer a tiny girl at 65 pounds but we love big dogs.

This week challenge is about using Punches. I was lucky enough to win some dies from Cherry Lynn Designs so I got the mini Flourishes from them which work fabulous in my Cuttlebug.

Paper is from Crate Pad and I colored the images with a combo of my Copics and Spectrum Noirs.

I will also be entering this one in:

SBS Jude Blog Hop Participant

Being a lover of all things cute and a bit quirky, Simply Betty Stamps are one of my favorites.  I was lucky enough to be able to join in on their hop to celebrate their newest digital release, Space Judes.

You should be hopping over here from lovely Irene's Blog. She always does such lovely work.

For this card I used this cutey called Out of this World Ali Digi.  I colored her with my Spectrum Noirs and all the paper and embellishments are from my stash.  Sometimes it feels really good to be able to make a card with those "hoarded" supplies.

Now hop on over to Denise (aka Crafty Daffy) to see her fantastic work.  Do not forget to leave comments on the hop cause our fabulous leader Betty will be picking some random winners to give a digi too from this adorable release.
