2 Sisters Challenge is celebrating their 2nd year and we having a host of fabulous companies sponsor us for this special challenge. We are being sponsored by 5 wonderful companies.  This is also my final challenge with 2 Sisters Challenge. I am so excited that they gave me the opportunity to work with them and appreciate that wonderful time I have shared with them.
This week America celebrates its birthday as well so we though that it would be fitting to make our theme for this challenge...

RED, WHITE & BLUE with the optional extra of GLITTER or BLING.

Thank you so much for having us, and again the very best of luck to all of you.

With 5 sponsors it means that there are 5 chances to win one of the sponsor prizes. Here is how it will work...

2 winners will be chosen from all of the cards and projects that are entered

2 winners will be chosen from all of the entries that use an image from one of the sponsors from this challenge. If you use an image from one of the sponsors and want to be put into the drawing for one of these prizes put a # beside your name when you link your card or project.

Mo Manning Thank you Card

I created this card to give to my daughter extra help teacher who has helped her grow so much in her reading. My daughter selected the colors since she said that is her favorite color. I stamped the sentiment in the paper, from My Craft Spot on the Teeny Tiny Tags set, she is holding and put it up higher cause my daughter wanted to write in the name. We are all so thankful for all the help she has given her.

The sentiment is actually from Bugaboo Ruby image which just cracked me up when I read it.

Cooking with Cricut All about Water Fun Challenge

Welcome back to another great summer theme challenge at Cooking with Cricut.  We want to see your projects that pertain to Summer Water Fun.  These are just one of those cards I decide I really wanted to try something outside of my comfort zone.  The card shape is cut from my Art Philosphy Cart and then my umbrella and chair are from Life's a Beach. Cut at 3 inches and I used prepatterned paper for both.

I then wiped out my CTMH many stamp ink pad and used Goldrush, Pacifica and Sky to ink up the background and yes that is real sand I used in the card.  Some good ole fashion Elmer glue held it great.

I will be entering this one in:

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge-Red, White & Blue

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another Loves Rubberstamps weekly challenge. This week the theme is Red, White & Blue as many here in the USA get ready to celebrate the 4th of July.

Now for this card I have to say I gave myself a pat on the back.  I am soooo not a clean & simple gal but I have been seeing this technique and wanted to see how it worked. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised.

This adorable boy is Cupcake Phillip by CC Designs. I really am not the one to do too many boys with a house full of girls but it is nice to have a few for the "boyfriends" my girls have. I used kraft paper and stamped the image directly on my card. I then pulled out and dusted off the watercolor pencils for this one.  Used some old CTMH stamps I have in my stash for the border as well as added the mini-tickets by Whimsy Stamps and a little Stickle on the cupcake and stars.

Loves Rubberstamps-Inspirational Monday

Welcome Everyone to another Monday Morning Inspirational Post for Loves Rubberstamps.  I do not know about you but I think we are a little Diva at times.  Once I saw this stamp from Stamping Bella by Mo Manning I know I needed to have it! It reminds me so much of my youngest daughter, age 3,  who we all have nicknamed Diva cause that girl will not leave my house without wearing a "fufu skirt" and having her hair in clips.

I love purple and green together so it was not hard for me to combine these two elements.  I used my Spectrum Noirs to color this image and the sentiment actually comes with this stamp.

Kenny K Red,White & Blue

Hello Everyone! Yesterday ended up being a nice birthday though it started a bit rough when my automatic car payment company had a computer error and ended up deducting my payment 3...yes I said three times! Fortunately all the money is back today and they will pay any bank fees I have if going in the red..so I am having a much better morning.

Decided to color up this gorgeous image from Kenny K and I am pretty happy with how it all came together.  A bit bummed that I did not make the team but I know I am still a work in progress and seeing what those artists can do I will have more practice to get there.  I used two cartridges, Stand and Salute for the dog tag/sentiment-"My Hero" but I think my paper may have been too shiny so it is a bit hard to read.  The star is cut from and Accent Essentials.

Simply Betty

I do love me some Simply Betty and they have created a new Challenge Blog called Simply Challenged Challenges so I figured I would get into this one.
I colored this one up last night as I watched True Blood on my DVR since I missed it on Sunday night.  I have to laugh when I see all the blogs with pictures of Eric, Bill or even Edward from Twilight.  I would take me an Alcide anyday!

This is the Emo Betty Clear Stamp and I used my Cricut cart for the Sentiment...if you are a Cricut lover and love Halloween you HAVE to get Happy Hauntings...one of the all time best Carts I own...I love their great cuts on that.  The paper is from my stash so not really sure who makes it.

I will be entering this one in:

A Day for Daisies Post

I recently won at Link Up for Pink and got to pick a few digis from a fabulous digital company many of you know, A Day For Daisies.  I adore their images and I am sooo happy to have a few now in my collection.

I used my Copics for this one as well as my Spectrum Noirs. The Copics were colors, E11, 13 & 15.  I used Spectrum Noirs fro teh hair and I am still trying to experiment with my shadowing...I am watching lot of videos so I keep my fingers crossed I will someday have it done like some of my favorite card makers out there! Practice makes perfect right.

I will be entering this one in:

1) A Day for Daisies-The image is new, blue is the color, the paper is old (well been in my stash for about 6 months) and the green on the flowers are "borrowed" from another card I made.

Come back tomorrow for a DEFINITE card for the next challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps Challenge.  I am sure tons of you will have the perfect card for this one.

Darcy Diaries Card

I amazing had a very productive crafting day even with the kiddos at home. Gave them some scrap digis to play with and they busied themselves for a bit so I can finish up TWO cards!

The first is a digital image from Darcy Diaries. I was lucky enough to win one of their challenges recent and got 5 fabulous images and this was one of them.  I loved it them in minute I saw it and figure I better get to work on it.

I used my Cricut to great the doily in the back.  This is a cut from Damask Decor...a cart I really do not used much but does have some great fancy cuts for those people who like that. The paper I got on clearance at Michaels and it is a K&Company paper pack but not sure which one.  I also used my Cricut to create the flowers via the Art Philosophy cart.  I cut my small flowers at 2.5 if you are wondering.  Image is colored with my Spectrum Noirs.  The sentiment is from My Creative time which has tons of great sentiment sets as well as other really cool dies..(still hoping I get a little extra cash for my B-day this week in order to get that lollipop die I have wanted and that All Around Sentiments) and I then did some faux stitching around it.

I will be entering this one in:

Loves RubberStamps Inspirational Posts.

One of the things I am most excited about with being on  Loves Rubberstamps Design Team is the great variety of stamps they have available.  I have always adored Crafty Sentiments Stamps and was so excited to be able to get my hands on a few of them.

This one is called He Loves Me and isn't it just the sweetest image. I colored the image with the Spectrum Noir markers except for the skin which I tried a new color combo I am still debating...E51, E53...what do you think? The paper is from MME and the tag is from My Craft Spot.

Hope you enjoyed this inspiration and can not wait to see you Tuesday for our next Challenge.

Loves RubberStamps Inspirational Monday Post

Hello everyone! Welcome to another Monday Inspirational post for Loves Rubberstamps. This beauty of a stamp created by Elisabeth Bell is available via Sweet Pea Stamps in our store.

Paper Piecing is a great way to add dimension and patterns to your stamp images.  The paper set is from DCVW-Once Upon a Time Stack.  It is a very easy process too.  First you stamp an image on your choice of paper you use to color and then color up the skin and areas you will not be putting a pattern on, Next you stamp the same image on the paper pattern and then cut out the portion you want to glue it to your original stamp.

I love to use Stickles cause of the bling so I added that too the wings and the wand.  The flourishes are actually cut from my Cricut.

I will be entering this card in a few Challenges too:

Sentimental Sundays

Welcome to another Sentimental Sundays.  With Father's Day fast approaching here in the US, we decided it was time to get you motivated to get those Male Theme/Father's Day cards done.  With our Summer Bonus options, we have another fabulous sketch by our teamie, Nicole.
We have one of my favorite sponsors back, Bugaboo Stamps. I just love these stamps since the character lines are sooo funny.  Love the Stella line!

It has been two years since my father passed away and I am not really one to make Father's Day cards for my hubby since my girls enjoy making their own so I hope a Male Theme Card is okay.  We actually have our ten year anniversary coming up so I had this one in mind. I paper pieced the the outfit on Stella and the shorts and socks on Gus.  This paper is from my stash and used my Copics to color this one.  The tabs and the hears are from my chipboard stash. This paper I have had for about a year.
